Pop Up Pilates with Papaya Pilates
Looking for a unique, healthful, Friday night event that will leave you feeling relaxed, blissful, and rejuvenated? Come as you are or bring friends to Sound Meditation with Reiki.
We begin with a brief guided meditation followed by a transformative gong bath, that leaves one feeling calm and at peace. The music of the gongs allows participants to use sound as a meditative tool to disconnect from daily stressors and delve into a relaxed state. Sound meditation quiets the mind, allowing for overall wellbeing, less stress, better sleep, and new inspiration.
No skill is required. Only the desire to access the quiet place in your mind. The place that is patiently waiting for you.
Participants will be laying or seated on the floor. Please wear comfortable clothing. Yoga mats will be provided, or you are invited to bring your own mat, blanket, eye mask, or anything to be comfortable lying or sitting down.
*This workshop is not recommended for those fitted with pacemakers or insulin pumps or in the first trimester of pregnancy.
Fridays 10/7, 11/4, 11/18, 12/16, and 12/30 at 7pm
Sunday, 12/4 at 4:30pm (this replaces the previously scheduled 12/2 date)
Price: $20 per session
Karen “Kay” Campbell is a certified Usui Reiki Master and Meditation Guide. She earned her reiki level I, II, and became a Usui Reiki Master in February of 2022. She studied at Natural Healer where she also became a certified Meditation Guide. Through meditation and reiki, she discovered sound meditation and gongs. Gongs are a powerful tool for meditation and energy balancing. Kay is an empath and has always worked in social services, as a social worker, geriatric care manager, and managing Long Term Care. She has a BA in psychology, MBA candidate, and is a mother of two. Kay’s goal is to share sound meditation with everyone open to feeling less stress, anxiety, and looking for a moment of calm.
SAS is MOVING! As of January 1, 2023 we will no longer be located at 5A Lowell Street in Andover, MA. We are in search of a new home to continue to grow our business. All classes and rentals will be on hold while we look for our new studio. Stay tuned for news on a new location and programming soon!
