COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

We have lifted the mask mandate at Shawsheen Arts Studio.  Face coverings are now optional for all staff, students and visitors to the studio.  There will be no tolerance for any mistreatment of individuals for their choice to continue to wear a mask.  

If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, please do not enter the studio and call or email us immediately to discuss cancellation or rescheduling options. 

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT

-Group Classes & Workshops:

To register for a class or workshop at SAS, students must complete and submit a registration form on the website.  Once we have received your form, we will send an email confirmation and invoice.  Payment for all programming at SAS is due upon receipt of your confirmation and invoice.  Payment can be made via PayPal, credit/debit card or check.  You can also submit payment via Venmo to @ShawsheenArts.

-Private Lessons: 

All private lesson requests should be made by submitting a lesson request form on the website here: https://shawsheenarts.com/acting-with-rae

SAS will email to finalize scheduling for the lesson(s) and send an invoice for payment.  All lessons must be pre-paid online.  If a student prefers to pay via check or cash, payment must be remitted upon arrival to the studio.

-Space Rentals: 

To book studio time, send an email to info@shawsheenarts.com with details of your needs and dates of interest.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

-Group Classes: 

A 50% refund will be issued for a session class up to 1 week prior to the first day of the class.  After that, there are no refunds available.  Exceptions will only be made for extreme circumstances and made on a case by case basis.  Please email info@shawsheenarts.com with questions.

-Private Lessons: 

Cancellations for private lessons must be made at least 24 hours in advance.  After that, students will be responsible for payment for the full lesson fee.

**In the event that SAS cancels a class or workshop, students will be informed by email and on the SAS Facebook page and will be offered a class credit or refund.

RETURNING STUDENT POLICY

Participants are considered "returning" students if they have taken a class at SAS within the past 6 months.

STUDENT CONDUCT

Students will treat the studio and their classmates, teachers, staff of SAS with respect and embrace a judgement free, welcoming and inclusive environment at all times.  SAS is a safe space for all ages, gender identities and gender presentations, races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, physical abilities, national origins, mental abilities, and religions.  The more safe and joyful the space, the more we can feel the freedom to express and be creative!

GENERAL STUDIO POLICIES

Students can arrive 10 minutes early to class to settle in.   Parents & guardians are not permitted in the studio during classes, lessons and workshops, unless previously arranged with the SAS staff.  If arriving late, student should enter the studio quietly and join the class without causing disruption.

PHOTO & VIDEO

Students and guests may not take video of other students or of the instructor without explicit permission from the instructor and of everyone who will be filmed.  SAS requires all students and parent/guardians of those under 18 to complete the photo/video release form and will not take photo or video of any students that have checked NO on the form. The process of filming may not impede the progress or safety of the class.
